Brighton police are investigating an accident in the parking lot of a sporting goods store in which a “2 ½ or 3-year-old boy” was hit by a truck and killed.
Richard Kelly, assistant to the chief of Brighton Police, said the accident at 2269 Prairie Center Parkway was not a hit-and-run, and police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved.
Police are still on the scene investigating the accident.
