BOULDER, Colo.—A Boulder High School principal arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, child abuse and criminal mischief following a dispute with his wife has pleaded guilty to tampering with property.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), Kevin Braney returns to work Tuesday after he was placed on leave following his arrest.

Police say they were called to a Boulder home last month after Braney’s wife Andrea said he began destroying property involved in their divorce case. Police say Braney was charged with child abuse for allowing a child to witness the violence.

Braney told police he did not yell at his wife or touch her, though they did have stern words about finances.
