’s head honcho has announced another new project — his foray into filmmaking. The young rapper will direct the short film called “Wolf,” which is a companion adaptation to the album of the same name released back in April. You can watch the trailer below.
The film will be released under Tyler’s alias Wolf Haley and the clip is backed by a different version of “Rusty,” a song that first appeared on the “Wolf” LP. In the teaser, Tyler and his cronies are seen abusing some poor sap in the middle of a mountain road flanked by a muscle car.
After stomping the guy and throwing away his bike, the victim is shown to be the Wolf himself, decked out in bright colors and designer sunglasses. The gang of hellions then speed off into a glaring sun still yelling as an animatedly broken and battered Tyler picks himself up off of the ground.
As of yet, there is no release date for “Wolf.” Tyler the Creator will join Kid Cudi and a slew of others at Red Rocks on Sept 16.
