Lakewood police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a store in the city last week.
The robbery occurred at 4:05 p.m. Sunday at a Diamond Shamrock, 715 Wadsworth Blvd., according to a Lakewood Police Department media release.
Police said a man entered the store and placed a note on the counter while holding his right hand in the interior left breast pocket of his blazer. The robber fled northbound on foot.
The robber is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 140 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a small white logo, black rimmed glasses with clear lenses, black business-type blazer, black shirt with a white or gray pattern, and blue jeans. He was holding a black leather bag with a zipper during the robbery.
