FRISCO, Colo.—U.S. Freeskiing Team member Devin Logan says she is recovering well from a season-ending knee injury.

The 20-year-old won the FIS Freestyle Ski Halfpipe World Cup last year, but blew out her knee days later. She had surgery in September but is now back on skis. After taking a few runs at Colorado’s Copper Mountain resort on Saturday, Logan said she is not feeling any pain in her knee.

Logan hasn’t competed since her injury but earned her certification to be freeskiing judge. She says judging is “intense” and that after having done it she won’t second-guess judges’ decisions again.

Logan is originally from West Dover, Vt., but now lives in Park City, Utah.
