Cherry Creek is back atop the Class 5A baseball coaches poll.
The Bruins (4-1) had been ranked third and returned to the top spot after former No. 1 Pine Creek and former No. 2 Mountain Vista faltered. Pine Creek dropped to ninth; Mountain Vista is fifth.
Chaparral jumped from sixth to second, and Grandview moved up one spot to third.
Unbeaten ThunderRidge (6-0) entered the ranking for the first time this season, at fourth. Rocky Mountain (No. 8) also joined the 5A poll.
The 4A ranking added Erie (No. 6), Centaurus (No. 8) and Falcon (No. 9).
There was a lot of shakeup to the 1A poll, with the top two teams, Eads and Granada, rising after being unranked. That poll also added Cheyenne Wells at fourth.
