DENVER—The Colorado Department of Transportation has reopened Interstate-76 from Denver through northeast Colorado after state highway officials decided blizzard conditions in Nebraska are no longer a threat.
Highway officials also reopened Interstate-70 early Wednesday after it was closed overnight because of severe weather in Kansas from a strong spring storm that brought blizzard conditions, snow and ice to Colorado on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Denver International Airport says operations are back to near normal after nearly 500 flights were canceled on Tuesday.
