Tornado sirens will be tested Wednesday in Denver, the city said in a news release.
The outdoor warning system test will include full sirens sounding continuously for 3-5 minutes at 11 a.m.
Th city said there have been 12 tornadoes reported in Denver County since 1950. The sirens are used an average of six times per year.
