Broncos defensive tackle Mitch Unrein signed his exclusive-rights free agent tender on Thursday.
Unrein played in 30 regular-season games and three postseason games with the Broncos during the past two seasons.
Unrein originally was signed by Houston as a college free agent in 2010, before playing on Denver’s practice squad.
Unrein played at the University of Wyoming, where he had 162 career tackles and 10.5 sacks.
He is a graduate of Eaton High School.
