Pine Creek has won four games in a row and is slowing moving its way back up the Class 5A baseball ranking.
The Eagles, who lost three games in a row in late March and early April, are No. 4 in this week’s coaches poll. They were No. 8 last week.
The 5A poll continued to be led by Cherry Creek, which received nine of the ten first-place votes. Chaparral remained at No. 2 and Grandview at No. 3.
Northglenn (No. 10) was the lone new team to the ranking.
Montrose stayed at the No. 1 spot in 4A despite its loss last week to Valor Christian. Valor moved from eighth to fourth.
New teams to 4A were Broomfield (No. 8) and Green Mountain (No. 10).
Stratton took over the top 1A spot following a 3-0 week.
