MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.—A major highway near Manitou Springs is temporarily closed while road crews clean up a large rockslide.
Colorado Department of Transportation crews are working Friday to remove nearly a dozen rocks off Colorado Highway 24. Some of the rocks that fell Tuesday are as big as a car.
Crews pushed the rocks off the road and brought in a machine to blast the rocks into smaller pieces for easier removal.
