It is official. Former federal public defender Raymond Moore is now a U.S. .
Chief Judge Marcia Krieger held an informal investiture for Moore on Tuesday.
A formal investiture is scheduled for June 21.
Moore replaces Judge Wiley Daniel, who is now a senior judge. The U.S. Senate confirmed Moore, who was nominated by President Barack Obama, on March 26. Moore couldn’t be reached for comment.
