GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Marcus Bebb-Jones, a British professional gambler who admitted to killing his wife in 1997, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison by District Judge Daniel Petre.

According to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent ( ), Marcus Bebb-Jones originally was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Sabrina Bebb-Jones, who disappeared in 1997. A rancher found her skull in 2004. British police later arrested Bebb-Jones, and he was extradited to the United States.

He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the heat of passion.
