One of the men accused of robbing a Denver RadioShack and holding the clerk hostage at gunpoint has pleaded guilty in the incident.

Taveuan Williams, 20, pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated robbery and first-degree assault stemming , according to a news release from the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

Williams and Michael Annan, 23, robbed the RadioShack, took the clerk hostage and shot at police before a six-hour standoff ensued, prosecutors say.

During the standoff, Williams was active on social media, which is where family and friends pleaded with him to give up and end the situation peacefully.

The two eventually surrendered peacefully.

Williams faces 30 years in prison when he is sentenced on July 11, according to the release.

, 11 counts of attempted first-degree murder, 11 counts of first-degree assault and numerous counts of crime of violence.

Annan is scheduled for trial in October.
