A degree in medical assisting may be your answer, and IBMC College is here to help. In as little as 15 to 19 months, you can be trained for a respectable career in the medical field. As a medical assistant, you’ll combine your love for helping others with a well-developed skillset, all while working in a fast-paced environment alongside doctors and healthcare professionals. Whether you are currently raising a family, considering career training for the first time or have not set foot in a school for many years, rest assured, you will feel at home at IBMC College. Life is busy, and you need training at a location that is close-by. That is why IBMC offers medical assisting diploma and degree classes in the morning, afternoon or evening, Monday-Thursday at conveniently located campuses in Longmont, Greeley and Fort Collins, Colo., and Cheyenne, Wyo. IBMC takes a hands-on approach in our medical classrooms. With the help of experienced instructors, students become skilled in this healthcare field by performing blood draws, injections, suture removal, dressing changes, casting, equipment sterilization and medical-related procedures. During the last five weeks of courses, you will participate in an externship in a medical clinic, healthcare facility or physician’s office. After successfully graduating and passing the RMA Exam, you will enter into the healthcare career field as a Nationally Registered Medical Assistant, certified in CPR, First Aid and automated external defibrillator tactics.
