Strains of Bluegrass at Pueblo fest

Pueblo’s Bluegrass at the Fair takes place May 31-June 2 at the Colorado State Fairgrounds. Eighteen bands will perform on two stages during the three-day festival, which includes arts and crafts, food, and camping. A weekend camping pass is $35, weekend festival tickets are $30, and children under 10 are free.

Balloons to fill skies over Telluride

The annual Telluride Balloon Festival is May 31-June 2. More than one dozen balloons will be launched each morning and float over downtown Telluride. On the last day of the festival in the evening, inflated balloons will be set up and glow on Main Street.

Alamosa music and beer festival

Alamosa’s 11th annual SummerFest on the Rio will be May 31-June 2. The festival features live music, a beer garden, family activities, fireworks, arts and crafts and more.

Farmer’s market returns to Golden

The opening day of the Golden Farmers’ Market is June 1. Every Saturday through Oct. 5, the market has live music, horse-drawn carriage rides, specialty foods, local wines, garden décor, breads, frozen fish, meats and more.
