The fragility of Fleetwood Mac is legendary. The band’s history is fraught with enough material for its own reality show. All bickering and drama aside, the band is one of rock’s all-time greats. Even today, “Rumors” sounds as modern as it did in 1977 and continues to inspire much of contemporary music. On this 2013 reunion tour that comes to the Pepsi Center on Saturday, Fleetwood Mac is touring with a lineup nearly the same as the one that recorded “Rumors.” It might not be the same as seeing the band in its prime, but it’s a rarity — especially these days — to see the band with a lineup that resembles the 1970s. The xx hinges on subtlety to the point that the casual listener may think the band is boring. But listen closely. An echoing guitar note, a moan from a backing vocalist — all these details add to the compelling build of a song by the xx. This subtlety is what makes the xx such a sought-after band to catch live and one of the reasons the band’s show at the Fillmore Auditorium on Monday has been sold out for weeks. The British band is touring in support of its second album, “Coexist,” which was released in September. (Sold out)
