COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado State Patrol arrested a man suspected of pushing a woman out of a car and running her over around 6:45 a.m. Thursday.
Police said Donald Sullivan, 27, of Pueblo, was stopped and taken into custody on outstanding warrants on Highway 50 outside of Pueblo.
The incident allegedly began when Sullivan and a woman got into a fight in the car near the 4900 block of Centennial Boulevard, north of Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs Police Lt. John Godsey said.
The woman was injured when Sullivan allegedly drove away and the car’s rear tires ran over her legs, police said. She was taken to Penrose Main Hospital and was released after receiving treatment.
