A woman who was allegedly kidnapped and a victim of domestic violence returned to her Denver home Monday morning and a suspect has been arrested in the case.
At 1:05 a.m. Monday Denver police were called to 3925 Xavier St. by the victim’s mother who reported the incident, according to the Denver Police Department.
A witness told police that the 25-year-old victim was assaulted and forced into a vehicle against her will by her boyfriend, who drove off.
The boyfriend and suspect in the case was identified only by a first name — Gerardo.
The victim returned home about 9 a.m. Monday.
Just before 11 a.m. Denver police on Twitter said that a suspect in the case has been arrested. He has not yet been positively identified by police, the Tweet said.
