Denver police sealed off a couple of blocks on Capitol Hill on Wednesday afternoon while they looked for a robbery suspect.
The incident happened over the noon hour on East Colfax Avenue and the robber fled south on Pennsylvania Street toward East 14th Avenue, police said.
Police set up a perimeter around Pennsylvania and 14th as the searched for the robber, who stole a victim’s wallet, police said.
No weapons were used during the robbery and the victim was not injured.
Police took a suspect into custody about 30 minutes after the incident began.
