Topping our picks of best Colorado shows this week are Wampire, Vitamins and more. We’ll be seeing you there, and if you don’t make it out, follow the music musings on our Twitter @RVRB and our selfies on Instagram @heyreverb.

4) Big Head Todd & the Monsters — Saturday, Red Rocks, $56.40-$78.05

Anyone who spent time in Colorado during the ’90s can hum a few songs. For many young, local musicians, BHTM represented the pinnacle of local music success. And for Colorado music fans, or even casual local radio listeners, Big Head Todd was a household name. Thatap why the 20th anniversary of platinum-selling “Sister Sweetly” is such an important occasion in a state where the band is so well-respected and loved. On Saturday, Big Head Todd & the Monsters will return to Red Rocks Amphiteatre with Trombone Shorty to celebrate its starring role in local music history.

3) The June Bugout — Friday, City O’ City, $15

On paper it probably sounds a bit intimidating: A block party in the parking lot of a vegetarian restaurant hosted by a local music collective and featuring a bunch of indie bands. But really, it’s not as exclusive as you may think. The June Bugout kicks “in the door of summer in true Denver style” (as the Facebook page says) on Friday in the City O’ City back lot from 5 to 10 p.m. Local bands , , and the will perform.

2) Vitamins, Tjutjuna — Friday, Larimer Lounge, $10

, Denver indie mainstay has been busy. Singer Lizzy Allen has been trucking around the country with the Flaming Lips, Matt Daniels has been gigging with Gauntlet Hair and overall the band members have been doing pretty well for themselves. Now, the band members have found themselves all in Denver at the same time, and has decided it’s the perfect time for a reunion show. They perform on Friday at the Larimer Lounge with and Fingers of the Sun.

1) Wampire, Morning Clouds — Saturday, Larimer Lounge, $10

There’s a lot to like about newcomer indie-pop act . The music is light and grainy, but not quite low-fi, and Wampire’s overall persona — the album cover, playful band name — has a great Adult Swim feel to it. Running bass lines, vintage synth melodies and a driving percussion section make this a band with more live potential than many of its peers. Plus, Denver’s , which has been a favorite on local and national music blogs, is opening the show. Ready your vintage clothing and prepare to hear texture for this Larimer Lounge show on Saturday.
