
Her list of accomplishments is almost longer than she is tall, which is a good thing because it helped make Briana Labrie a shoo-in for the ‘s debutante Class of 2013.
Good grades and leadership potential weigh heavily in the selection process. This year, 130 young ladies were nominated to be Owl Club debs; 20 were presented at the club’s 62nd annual Debutante Cotillion held at the Marriott City Center.
Labrie served as student body president at and will attend on a full academic merit scholarship. Labrie also was captain of Regis’ state champion swim team and a member of the National Honor Society.
She also served as regional teen president and regional teen treasurer of ; her mother, Tara Joseph Labrie, a past national president of Jack and Jill, announced the debutantes with Karen Norman.
Also chosen to curtsy at the black-tie dinner-dance chaired by Reginald Norman and Gregory Anderson were Maya Allen, Annastacia Anderson, Genacie Bates, Breanna Batts, Sierra Blanchard-Hodge, Sydney Brown, Deszane Flowers, Chandler Keesee, Alaynah Lanier, Armani Lee, Avion Locke, Aisha May, Lisa Napper, Ainissa Proctor, Shani Riddick, Hannah Speights, Deja Trotman, Charnae Wilson and Kayla Wright-Jackson.
