Denver police have arrested a Lakewood man they say hit five people with his car.
John Martinez, 21, is being held on allegations of first-degree assault.
Police say that on Wednesday the victims and Martinez got into an argument at a bar at 2321 W. Evans Ave. The argument spilled out into the parking lot of the bar, where police say Martinez got in a gray 2004 Dodge Stratus and intentionally hit the victims.
He drove off and left the Stratus in the 1900 block of South Zuni Street, police said in a news release. Investigators tracked him to his home in Lakewood, where he was arrested.
All five victims were taken to a hospital, and three had serious injuries. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
