Frisco BBQ cookoff
The 20th annual Frisco Colorado BBQ Challenge takes place Thursday-Saturday. Participants will compete for best pork, ribs, chicken, brisket, anything goes, barbecue sauce, side dish, salsa and dessert.
Pagos golden retriever roundup
The Great Golden Retriever Roundup will be Saturday-June 16 in Pagosa Springs. The weekend kicks off with a buffet dinner Friday night, followed by a parade, food trucks, a beer and wine garden, competitions and a movie at dusk on Saturday.
Farmers market returns to Palisade
The Palisade Sunday Market begins June 16, running through Sept. 22. The downtown Palisade market features freshly picked produce from local Palisade growers, art and music.

Holyoke’s 125th Celebration and Dandelion Daze takes place Friday-June 16 at the Courthouse Lawn in Holyoke. The weekend features a car show, parade, food, contests, kids games, a barn dance and more.
