
Fine examples of Western art, antiques and artifacts will be available this weekend during the annual , but a selection of clothing and gear worn by actor is likely to get a lot of the attention. Moore played “The Lone Ranger” on television from 1949-51 and 1954-57, and his costumes were created by such legendary designers as Nudies Rodeo Tailors. Three such costumes will be auctioned, as will Moore’s Stetson hat, three pairs of boots and his Bohlin double-holster gun rig, shown here. The pieces come from Moore’s estate via his daughter, Dawn, who plans to attend the event. The auction will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, while the show is from 2-6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Auction and preview are free; show admission is $5 per day.
