DENVER—The Denver auditor says there is a lack of oversight of construction funds at Denver International Airport.
Officials caution airport officials that without more oversight, contractors could bid at a lower price than their competitors and then increase the cost of a project without substantial penalties.
According to the Denver Post ( ), DIA manager of aviation Kim Day promised Thursday to clear up the problems.
