FRISCO, Colo.—Copper Mountain Resort will be getting a face-lift for the winter season.
The resort plans to get rid of the Storm King chairlift and replace it with a newer, faster version.
Copper spokeswoman Austyn Williams says the new lift will be located in the same position, but will carry more people.
According to the Summit Daily ( ), Copper Mountain also plans to install a new lift to connect the top of the Sierra lift with the top of Mountain Chief if it gets approval from the U.S. Forest Service.
