BOULDER, Colo.—The University of Colorado is reconsidering the use of live animals in classroom science experiments.
Animal rights activists say computer simulations could replace the use of animals in some cases.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), the review comes after the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals filed a formal complaint last fall with the Boulder campus, claiming the experiments are cruel.
