COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Alaska Airlines is launching a daily nonstop flight between Colorado Springs and Seattle.

Alaska Airlines will begin flights in November with a 70-seat regional jet, but may expand the route with a Boeing 737 aircraft that carries between 124 and 181 passengers.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette ( ), Frontier Airlines said earlier this year that passenger numbers on the Seattle flight dropped sharply in the fall, prompting the carrier to end service in April.
