Free concerts in Crested Butte
The Alpenglow Free Summer Concert Series in Crested Butte runs through Aug. 12. Every Monday on the lawn at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts, the series hosts a free concert from 5:30-8 p.m. Food and beverage vendors are available, and picnicking is encouraged.
Winter Park music on Thursdays
Winter Park kicks off summer weekends with High-Note on Thursdays through Aug. 15. Every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in Hideaway Park, artists perform live salsa, country, bluegrass and more for free.
Ride to Aspen Mountain for bluegrass
Bluegrass Sundays at the top of Aspen Mountain run through Sept. 1. Bluegrass musicians from around the world perform free (with the purchase of a gondala ticket) just outside the Sundeck at the top of the mountain. Performances take place every Sunday from noon-3 p.m.
