Concert series in Ridgway
Ridgway’s sixth-annual Music in the Park Concert Series takes place every Thursday through July 25. From 6 p.m. until dark, guests can bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics, sample beer and wine, and enjoy free live music in Ridgway Town Park.
Picnic fun in Fraser
Fraser has a Picnic in the Park every Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. in Old Schoolhouse Park with live music and family activities. Picnics are encouraged, and the season runs until Aug. 6.
Rio Riverside fest in South Park
South Fork Rhythm’s on the Rio Riverside Festival takes place Aug. 10-11. Campgrounds for the festival open Aug. 9 at 3 p.m., and the weekend features live music, a horseshoe tournament, a kidzone, art contests, a silent auction, fishing and more. If purchased in advance, festival tickets cost $25, or $40 for a camping and festival pass.
