VAIL, Colo.—A Vail high school student has died from injuries he suffered in a mountain biking accident.
Zeke Pierce, a student at Vail Mountain School, was injured when he crashed on Vail Mountain on July 13. Susan Washing, a friend of Pierce’s family, tells The Vail Daily ( ) he was in a medically-induced coma at a Denver hospital when he died Thursday.
The family has donated Pierce’s organs.
