COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A contract worker is safe after being rescued at Rampart High School when he became trapped by a falling pipe.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department says the man was working inside the school when an 18-inch pipe fell on him. Firefighters couldn’t reach him from inside the school because the space was so confined, so they went through the roof and brought him out through a 20-inch pipe.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), the man was taken to the hospital with possible back injuries.
