Denver International Airport’s information technology staff took the airport’s flight boards offline Tuesday after they noticed glitch in the system’s software.

Following overnight system maintenance, staff noticed the boards were not updating information for Tuesday’s afternoon flights.

The airport announced on Twitter at 9:15 p.m. that the boards were working, after having been off most of the day.

Heath Montgomery, a DIA spokesman, said Tuesday afternoon that every flight board — about 1,200 total —was offline and IT staff was working to fix the problem.

Passengers could access flight information by either talking to airport staff at information booths or speaking directly to the airlines.

“The information is still getting out there, it’s just taking a little bit longer,” Montgomery said.

Montgomery also said there have been no flight disruptions and the software issue did not affect any other airport operations.
