Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed six miles east of Bennett while Colorado State Patrol investigates a single-car fatal accident.
The closure happen shortly before 7 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
A suggested alternate route is U.S. 40.
It is unclear when I-70 will reopen.
