Though their personalities and skill demand more, and have for the most part toured the country as supporting acts for more established rappers. Action Bronson kicked off ‘s show at Denver’s last week and Danny Brown opened for earlier this year. With the 2 High 2 Die Tour, now it’s finally the Danny Brown and Action Bronson show.
The North American Danny Brown and Action Bronson tour hits the road in advance of Danny Brown’s sophomore album “Old.” Action Bronson most recently dropped the “Saaab Stories” EP and is set to release “Blue Chips 2” the follow up to his critically acclaimed project “Blue Chips.” The rap pack will arrive in Denver for a performance at the Ogden Theatre on Sept. 17.
Danny Brown is a Detroit native whose 2011 album “XXX” catapulted him to stardom because of his wildly distinguishable voice and propensity for drug usage — or at least the discussion of using drugs in his rhymes. Action Bronson is a Queens native whose uncanny vocal resemblance to Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah put his rhymes at the forefront of the rap league with the album “Bon Appetit…Bitch.”
