BOULDER — Prosecutors on Thursday filed nine additional felony charges against a man accused of helping orchestrate and carry out the May kidnapping of his grandson.
Ronald Turner, 72, of Divide appeared in Boulder County Court on Thursday for a preliminary hearing.
He already was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of violating a protection order, second-degree kidnapping and being an accessory to those crimes.
On Thursday, prosecutors filed additional charges, including three new counts of first-degree burglary, felony menacing, use of a stun gun, third-degree assault, second-degree kidnapping, violation of a protection order and child abuse.
