Saturday. Many music festivals are multiday affairs with camping considerations and, often, hefty ticket prices. But the South Pearl Street Music Festival is all about keeping it down-to-earth. After its June 8 BrewGrass event, South Pearl presents its Blues & Brews installment on Saturday on the 1200 block of South Pearl Street, with music from Dan Treanor’s Afrosippi Band, Delta Sonics feat. Ken Saydak, John Long Band, Jockamo, Bad Brad & the Fat Cats and headliner Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials. Throw in some ice-cold beer from Great Divide, New Belgium, Oskar Blues, Denver Beer Co. and Lone Tree Brewing and local pizza, BBQ and more, and you’ve got a solid summer day.
