Vintage traveling
Set your GPS to Estes Park Aug. 17 for a tour of vintage camper trailers from 3 to 5 p.m. as part of the Sisters on the Fly third annual Rocky Mountain Hi campout at Mary’s Lake. More than 70 members will be in attendance from 14 states showcasing 62 trailers. “We love to show off our trailers and many are hand painted and decorated by Sisters and restored from the ground up. Most trailers are from the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s and a few new ones as well and they are really fun to tour,” says event organizer Julia McSherry. Admission is free, a suggested donation of $10 benefits Casting for Recovery, a breast- cancer support group using fly fishing to heal participants both mentally and physically. More details at
