Sen. Mark Udall says he’s meeting with an Army official to discuss the future of a southeastern Colorado training site that has put nearby ranchers on edge for years.
Udall says he’ll meet Tuesday at the Piñon Canyon Maneuver Site with Katherine Hammack, assistant Army secretary for installations, energy and environment.
A news release issued Friday offered no details. Udall’s spokesman declined to comment.
