BRIGHTON, Colo.—Investigators have arrested a man accused of killing two teen boys who he says planned to extort him.

William Dean Otto was being held without bond in Adams County on Monday on suspicion of first-degree murder.

KUSA-TV in Denver reports a criminal affidavit alleges Otto shot the teens after they said they wanted $10,000 each in exchange for not showing police a video of Otto asking at least one teen to perform a sex act. The teens’ families reported the boys missing over the weekend.

The Denver Post reports two bodies were found at a spot where Otto said investigators would find them, about five miles from where neighbor Rob McClary says Otto grew up in Sedgwick County in northeast Colorado.

Adams County coroner’s officials didn’t immediately identify the bodies.
