COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Police have called off the search for a missing girl after a body was found under a bridge following heavy rain in Colorado Springs.
Police tell KRDO-TV ( ) the body was found around midnight after the girl’s parents told authorities their daughter called Monday to say she was caught in a storm and planned to wait it out under a bridge.
A mudslide and flash flood killed one person in nearby Manitou Springs on Friday, and more rain hit the area on Monday.
