Michael Tait, a junior at Columbine High School, fired a 69 on Tuesday to take top honors at a Class 5A Jefferson County League meet at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood.
Tait’s 3-under-par total was good for a two-stroke victory over Ralston Valley’s Ray Carlsen and Garrett Jones.
Teamwise, Ralston Valley led the way at 295. Others: Columbine and Lakewood 316; Standley lake 324; Pomona 334; Chatfield 337; Dakota Ridge 343; Arvada West 344; and Bear Creek 354.
Other top individuals: Nick Villano, Standley Lake, 75; and A.J. Berry, Chatfield, and Keegan Sheard, Ralston Valley, 76.
