COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Flood warnings are still in effect in El Paso County in the wake of a storm that brought torrential downpours and hail to some areas.
The National Weather Service said Friday heavy rain caused excessive runoff and could cause flooding along Fountain Creek.
Heavy rains were reported Thursday in Teller and El Paso counties, which were placed under flash flood warnings.
Hail was reported in areas southwest of Denver that left yards looking like it had snowed.
