1 Graffiti at Ulysses Skate Park. On Aug. 11, Golden police went to Ulysses Skate Park, 1205 Ulysses St., because the ramps were covered with graffiti targeting police and naming a specific deputy. Jefferson County said there was no deputy on staff by that name.
2 Window damage at Golden High School. On Aug. 14, Golden police went to Golden High School, 701 24th St., where damage to several windows was photographed. No suspect information was provided by the school principal.
3 Rowdy taxi driver has words with restaurant manager. On Aug. 9, police were called to Indulge Bistro, 1299 Washington Ave., after the management called a cab for a customer. When it took 45 minutes for the taxi to arrive, the patron left by other means, but the taxi driver became incensed on arriving. There were words, and different versions of a discussion between the taxi driver and the manager. No charges were filed.
4 Parking garage site of bike theft. On Aug. 10, a Golden police officer went to the parking garage at 1250 Jackson St. where two secured bicycles had been reported stolen from a rack on a car. The bikes were valued at more than $10,000.
5 Domestic dispute in Morrison ends in arrest. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 13400 block of Choctaw Street on Aug. 15 on a domestic disturbance call. En route, dispatch radioed that the male party left in a truck and was traveling 120 mph on U.S. 285. Morrison Police stopped the driver at Colorado 8 and U.S. 285. He was arrested for DUI and domestic charges.
