Balloon fest and foliage tour
The three-day 38th annual Snowmass Balloon Festival and Ferrari Fall Foliage Tour is Sept. 12-15. Balloon pilots will hold racing competitions that cover the entire Roaring Fork Valley. The weekend also includes barbecue, a free concert and more.
Breckenridge Oktoberfest
The 19th annual OktoberFest in downtown Breckenridge takes place Sept. 13-15. One of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the Rocky Mountains, the weekend includes German cuisine, live music, collectible steins and more.
Lake City arts and crafts
The 22nd annual Colorest Arts and Crafts Festival is Sept. 14 in Lake City from 10-4 p.m., with fine arts, crafts and food in the Lake City Town Park.
Gilmore Ranch hoedown
The Headwaters Hoedown is Sept. 15 from 1-6 p.m at Gilmore Ranch and features local foods, wine and beer, a silent auction and kids activities.
