A doctor accused of prescribing controlled substances in quantities and dosages that resulted in abuse, addiction and death is being held without bond.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gordon P. Gallagher on Tuesday ordered Joel E. Miller,55, of Craig, held without bond at a detention hearing in Grand Junction. Gallagher said Miller is a flight risk.
, money laundering and distributing and dispensing controlled substance.
