Denver police are investigating a hit-and-run auto-pedestrian accident at East Colfax Avenue and Monaco Parkway that happened about 4:15 p.m.
The teenage pedestrian was taken to a hospital with serious bodily injuries, police said on Twitter.
The vehicle fled the scene.
There are no road closures at this time.
