The fourth annual “Wild Times at St. Vrain State Park” takes Firestone by storm Saturday as outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and abilities are invited to enjoy a morning of fresh air, fishing and more. From 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Colorado Parks and Wildlife will host instructional seminars on shooting bows and arrows, fishing in park ponds and shooting air rifles under the watchful eyes of trained professionals. Games, snacks and goody bags will round out of the morning. Registration is $5 (no credit cards) and is limited to 100 attendees. A daily Colorado State Parks Pass ($7 per vehicle) or an annual pass is also required and can be purchased at the park on the day of the event.

Find it: St. Vrain State Park is located between Denver and Fort Collins at 3525 State Highway 119 (exit 240 off Interstate 25). Register by calling 303-291-7804.
