DENVER—AT&T is apologizing after flood victims complained of charges for excess texts.
The company issued a statement Tuesday saying it will not bill customers for flood-related calls based on their wireless-minute or text-message plans.
According to the Denver Post ( ), one customer called to complain and a service worker offered them a plan that cost more money per month to cover it.
The company says it routinely suspends collections during emergencies.
